Our newest school project. The assignment was about the manmade & natural.

I’m interested in how we perceive landscape and how our memories contribute into what we see. Photography has offered a huge advantage in how we document our surroundings compared to painting. The snapshot style of photography usually related to a strong emotional bond to the moment is a lot different from the long process of painting. The way our mind processes these moments by instantly ripping them apart and storing them in different parts of our brain. I wanted to look into the re-collection of these memories and how they usually come out distorted.
